I started dressmaking in my teens and have been a passionate sewer ever since. Sewing was something I did at night after work and during holidays so my fabric collection always exceeded what could be produced! My Forgiving Fashions business was created in 2008 after I retired from 40 years of full-time work in education, primarily in teacher education in universities. I completed two years of study in Fashion Design and Technology to build my skills and to further my knowledge. I now run a home-based business and my work extends from formal wear for school students to dance costumes to bespoke work for mature women.
